On Sunday, September 13, the FSJM brought its volunteers together at the Grande Salle in Grancy for a day of fellowship and sharing. It was simply a way to say to them: thank you!
Throughout the year, many people volunteer their time and energy to the FSJM. Their help is invaluable in ensuring the smooth running of our various events: the Math and Logic Games Championship, the Math4Fun contest, the MINT Vaud fair, and many other gatherings.
To thank them for their dedication and willingness to help, we wanted to dedicate a day just for them.
The gathering began with an aperitif, followed by a meal enjoyed together in the Grande Salle in Grancy. A magician joined the party and mingled among the guests, surprising small groups and tables alike with his tricks performed just a few centimeters from the audience!
The afternoon naturally continued with board games, as we enjoyed playing, chatting, and—above all—spending quality time together, far from the usual hustle and bustle of our events.
Good cheer was in the air, and the many smiles were a testament to a day that was particularly well-received.
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteers their time to the FSJM. Their enthusiasm, availability, and dedication directly contribute to the success of our activities and allow us, year after year, to bring the joy of mathematics, logic, and games to a wide audience.
We’re already looking forward to seeing them again at our upcoming events!
