The atmosphere was sunny yesterday in the 11 regional centres, where more than 3,500 competitors of all ages took part in the semi-finals of the 33rd Swiss Championship of Mathematical and Logical Games.
We congratulate every competitor, whatever their performance on the day. The problems were hard this year and many of you got stuck on one or more questions.
We also warmly thank the many people whose availability and generosity make these events possible. Across the 11 sites, more than 300 volunteers turned out yesterday to welcome you.
The rankings are available. They are still provisional. The deadline for appeals and requests for clarification is set for Tuesday 19 March. Competitors who feel that the score assigned to them does not match what they believe they wrote on the answer sheet may request a check. To do so, send an email to info@fsjm.ch.
Additional “score-based” qualifications will be made for each category, based on all the results from the Swiss centres. The final qualifications for the Swiss final on 18 May will appear on these pages by early April at the latest.
